Obama Another Lincoln and Kennedy All Rolled Into One…

There are a lot of positive pieces about our soon-to-be new president rolling out daily in the press.  Too many to link.

There are plenty of references to JFK and Honest Abe in them.

Let’s see if the comparisons hold up over time – and see what the media (and foreign government figures) do with them – and in comparison with what they have done to Bush.

— Because all the many stories blasting Bush – like calling him a consensus all-time worst president in American history — coupled with the lauding of Obama’s future administration —- got me to thinking…

……about how JFK was a Cold War, anti-Communist warrior who absolutely loved to use the CIA and black ops against America’s enemies (foreign and domestic) —- and how President Lincoln suspended Habeas Corpus and took other extraordinary governmental action against actual American citizens – during extraordinary times.

And the media has never lost its love for those two presidents.

—— Something makes me think — when faced with the impossible task of dealing with global terrorism – especially after the first mid-level to major event/strike happens on his watch —- Obama will take the JFK route ———— and the media will let him get away with it — just as will people in the US government and foreign democracies….

—– It will take 25 years of water under the bridge, after Obama leaves office —- for historians to dig through recently declassified documents — to find that Obama’s presidency did very similar things to that of President Bush….

…..that is my prediction on the Covert Ops and Harsh Interrogation front…..
